i am going to be 21 soon so i've been working my ass off... okay nearly working my ass off to get together a venue, doing invitations, sort out menus etc. and i was still looking through venues... and you know when you have the feeling like you want this place but not too sure whether to book it yet? and i was really struggling to fully comprehend the bar tab/ drinks cards dilemma in my head. so when i asked the place that i was really interested in to save the 26th for me, they sent me an email back to tell me that it's already been booked...

2 weeks ago i looked at a nice place that was pretty much perfect i was just unsure about the pricing > i mean come on > i just got back from overseas not too long ago and i spent all my money > and so in the meantime i wanted my bf to come and help me look at the other venues; but he was always busy or our timing was off and i was too busy and well it ended up that we only saw our 2nd and 3rd venues that we disliked yesterday > which meant that 2 weeks have gone by without actually doing much so now...
Now... i have lost the only venue that i would have even considered and actually did like quite a bit. and all i wanna do it blame my bf for not being up to it to go check them out with me > being to busy at home to even help me look for more > but i know it's all my fault but now im totally bummed coz i don't know where i should host my party. i was even going to book the venue yesterday > im so emo now...><
when i first got the email i was thinking ; fark it i'll just not have a party i can't be stuffed anymore > i have my honours to worry about > i have my house falling apart to worry about > so many things to worry about and i have to worry about my 21st birthday party > i just wished that my bf helped me out a little more to relieve me of so much crap to handle. but i see that that's not going to happen and i cant cancel my party just coz i cant get the potentially most suitable place for my masquerade themed cocktail party > that's ok > worst comes to worst we can celebrate my birthday out in the open air > on the side of the road =) classy.
